Spy F & The Zakulas are the poster band for live appearences. When they're on stage, they can easily prove that a surreal storm may only be the interlude for some earthly nonchalence, accompanied by kind-of-hop elements, intriguing backgrounds, inspired scratches,samples, deranged guitar solos... sometimes they speak greek, sometimes
english, and their humour is as black as it can get.
They are:
Spyros Faros - guitar, sequencer, non-vocals
Dimitris Ntouramanis - lyrics, vocals
Giorgos Argyridis - turntables
Nikos Artemis - loops, samples
Kostis Kousoulos - sound, fx
Their first release is a 7inch single, limited to 700 copies entitled "Αφραγκο αγορι " (Penniless Boy). It was released on April 12th by pop art records. They are currently putting the finishing touches on their first full-length album, which is expected in autumn 2002.
